Brief Introduction of the Dongjiang Lake:
Location:Located in the Zixing Conty of Chenzhou City, southeast of Hunan, Dongjiang Lake is 38 km away from its downtown. The transportation is very convenient.
Main Attractions:
① The Dongxiang Lake has been acclaimed as “The Oriental Switzerland”. You can enjoy the romantic Small Dongxiang overcast with fog and the spectacular Great Dongjiang Reservoir here. Besides, the Waterfall of Mount Hougu, Efficacious Doushuai Rock, Yongcui Gorge and Fruit Garden are also inviting.
② In the Swan Mountain and National Forest Park, mountains contending for beauty, green trees crowding as clouds, murmuring streams, fowls and beasts, singing birds and fragrant flowers give you a sense of freshness of nature.
③ Down along the downstream of Great Dongjiang Reservoir by boat, you will reach the Chengjiangkou Scenic Zone where red rocks and cliffs, luxuriantly green woods cover the two shores of the lake.
④ There are also some adventurous activities like Dongjiang Raft, Aquatic Parachute, Aquatic Plane, Water Scooter, Lakeside Fishing, Hot Spring Bath and so on.
Tickets and Schedule:
There are four lines provided for tourists. The A line is a tour around the Dongjiang Lake and costs you 52 yuan. The B line is a visit to Doushuai Karst Cave and is 72 yuan. The C line is the raft on Dongjiang Lake, 212yuan. The D line includes Doushuai Karst Cave tour and Dongjiang Raft and costs you 252 yuan.
The opening time is from 8:00 to 18:00.
Traffic:
You can first go to the south station of Chenzhou by No. 18 or No.26 bus, then take the direct coach from Chenzhou to Great Dongjiang Reservoir to theDongjiangLake.
