My Unforgettable Trip in Tianmen Mountain

Though time past. the journey to Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mount was still vivid in my mind.

It took us about 10 minutes from the central Zhangjiajie city to Tianmen Mount Spot by taxi that day. The driver also mentioned it only 15 minutes from Zhangjiajie water-lily airport or train station to there.

When we stepped into Tianmen Mount spot, the ladders came into our view first. It is said there are 999 ladders which stand for luck lead to the Tianmen Cave.

The trip in Tianmen Mount Spot impressed us most were the following four spots.

The twisting mountain road

The twisting mountain road earns the fame as the First Road Wonder in the World with 99 curves. It is as gorgeous as an upward dragon who embracing the whole mountain.

The Tianmen Mount Temple

The temple can be originated from Tang dynasty and is the center of Buddhism in Western Hunan. Undoubtedly, the Tianmen Mount temple is a pure place to pray for luck and health.

The Tianmen Mount Cableway

With its length of 7,455m, the Tianmen Mount Cableway hanging likes a rainbow in the air. Looking down from the cable car, we enjoyed ourselves as immortals in the heaven.

The original forest in the air

It is an original sub-forest at the top of Tianmen Mount ,thus called The original forest in the air. In the forest there are nearly 200 kinds of herbs, and other national-level rare species, such as dove tree(Davidia involucrate).Air is clean and refreshing which make us completely relaxed.

How magnificent the mount is, we cannot agree more that Tianmen Mount is the N0.1 holy mount in Western Hunan.
