Zhangjiajie 72 Qilou, You can call it 72 Unique Tower or 72 Wonderful Buildings.It is located at No.1 Wuling Mountain Avenue in Yongding District, with a total construction area of about 100,000 square meters. It is divided into three major sections: Tiangong Qilou, Fireworks Old Street, and 72 Qizhai. It is known as the "Zhangjiajie Cultural Landmark" and the "New Engine of Night Economy".
In November 2023, 72 Qilou was selected as one of the first provincial-level nighttime cultural and tourism consumption clusters in Hunan.
In December 2023, Zhangjiajie 72 Qilou Scenic Area was shortlisted for the 2024 CCTV Spring Festival Gala sub venue.
The 109.9 meter height of Zhangjiajie's 72 Qilou not only refreshes the city's height, but also becomes a new height for the famous ancient tower in Chinese culture today. In 2019, the 72 unique buildings in Zhangjiajie successfully applied for the Guinness World Record for being the tallest Tujia stilted building in the world.
