World Natural Heritage World Geopark The First National Forest Park of China
Photo shows the beautiful scenery of the Phoenix (Fenghuang) ancient city, in central China's Hunan Province. The Phoenix city, located in Xiangxi Tujia-Miao Autonomous Prefecture in Hunan, enjoys a growing reputation among tourists for its picturesque landscape, exotic customs and historical sites.
The ancient city is just named after the bird Phoenix. It has been the areas inhabited by Miao and Tujia ethnic groups since ancient times. It's a nirvana of tourism.
