A grand road show was staged at Changsha Wanda Plaza on Sept. 2, to mark the 2016 Sino-Thai Culture and Tourism Friendship Caravan. Thailand folk dance, China’s Erdos dance and horse head string instrument performance, attracted numerous audiences. The 2016 Sino-Thai Culture and Tourism Friendship Caravan is co-organized by the China International Culture Association and Thailand Tourism Bureau, in order to promote “Belt and Road” Initiative-guided cultural construction, and give a boost to cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Thailand.The nearly 6000-km-long road trip began in Ordos, Inner Mongolia. The caravan would pass seven Chinese provinces and twelve provinces in Thailand. Along the 38-day trip, a number of tourism and culture promotion activities would be organized.
