It seems to be a really big park and no clear maps on line. As well, is there anything else besides from the park and the Tianman mountain to visit?

We suggest you search the official website to get an English version map. You are right. It is really a big park, so to cover all the scenic spots within a day is a little tight. Two days will be perfect. Apart from Tianmen Mountain, I suggest you go to Wulingyuan Scenic Area and Fenghuang Ancient Town. As for the transoport, you can go to Zhangjiajie Bus Station to take the direct bus to Wulingyuan Scenic Area. Upon your arrival, it is very convenient to reach Zhangjiajie from Wulingyuan.The scenic area is about 35km or futher from the downtown.
