New Regulations Related to Train Tickets’ Cancellation Charge

From September 1st, 2013, Some new regulations including train tickets’ cancellation charge were officially carried out. Here, we will mainly focus on two definitions.

Firstly, Passengers are allowed to get a refund for a ticket or endorse the ticket at any train station.

Secondly, longer than 48 hours before the dispatch of a train, passengers need to pay 5% fee for refund. Between 24 hours and 48 hours before the dispatch of a train, passengers are asked to pay 10% fee for refund. Within 24 hours before the dispatch of a train, passengers have to pay 20% fee for refund. That is called stepwise refund in new regulations.
