1、Choose the travel agencies that have good performance, Reliablility, Honesty, Super service quality and Good reputation. It is better not to only pay attention to low price, some travel agencies may seemingly have no high price and don’t indicate on the contract, but additional fees at your own expense may be added once set out. This point may mainly reflect in FIT routes.
2、Be very cautious when sign travel contract with the agency, use the model contract that recommended by department of industrial and commercial and tourism management. Standard terms can be used to add the items that you want to fill in, and those items and terms should be clarified: 1.Entrance ticket–through ticket or gate-ticket? How long can you visit? 2.Accomandation standard–does the room have hot-water, toliet, air-condition? What is time for supplying hot-water? 3.Vehicle–what is the model of the car, ship and what is the class? 4.Meal–does it include the meal? What is the standard and amount?
3、Reinforce the sense of self-protection and buy personal accident insuarance. The liability insuarance of the travel agency doesn’t include everything.
4、A supervisor should be recommended by the tourists during team travel. He can voluntarily supervise whether the travel agency and guider have offered service per standard and if there is any illegal behaviors, which can guarantee your legal rights.
5、Look out diet safety when traveling.
6、When the service that the travel agency offered doesn’t live up to the contract agreement or the travel agency breaks the contract, tourists should try to think how to reduce the loss, request the agency to keep the previous plan and pursue a claim rather than suspend the contract, which may result in passive situation.
7、When safeguard their legal rights, the tourist should assistant the tourism administration sector to normalize the market order. Timely report to the tourism administration sector is accepted once illegal agency without business license ,guider and vehicle are exposed.
8、Relevant evidences should be gathered and kept once the tourist find out the service quality in the contract doesn’t live up to the national standard or industrial standard due to the agency’s own fault, and tourists can pursue a claim or to complain to relevant sectors.
