World Natural Heritage World Geopark The First National Forest Park of China

In 2025, the scenic area successfully hosted the 11th World Wingsuit League (WWL) Wingsuit Flying World Championship, featuring 16 elite flyers from nine countries. The tourist attraction also launched characteristic activities like the "Intangible Cultural Heritage Folk Show," aiming to build a platform for cultural exchanges between China and other countries. Scenes like the Tujia ethnic group's wine ritual and singing and dancing interactions were widely shared by international visitors. This established Tianmen Mountain as a vital window showcasing the cultural charm of the Chinese nation to the world, cementing its status as a highly recognizable core landmark in "China Travel."
In 2025, based on the needs of global tourists, the Tianmen Mountain Scenic Area and the Trip Group jointly launched a multilingual ticketing system for inbound tourism. This system provides multilingual guidance throughout the purchasing process and supports all major international payment methods, significantly enhancing travel convenience for foreign visitors. Combined with the previously added Trip Group VIP Lounge, the scenic area has established a dual-assurance system of "international compatibility + quality service," winning widespread recognition from global tourists through more refined services.
During this year's National Day and Mid-Autumn Festival holiday, the scenic area collaborated with the Trip Group to launch a themed event, deeply integrating the culture of millennium-old Feitian (the Flying Deities) with stunning views of Tianmen Mountain. Five major Feitian art installations became must-visit landmarks for tourists. There were wingsuit flying performances during the daytime, while a nighttime performance named "The Celestial Maiden Scattering Flowers" was presented as the 999 steps were illuminated with colorful lights. A 5-meter-long phoenix figure soared through the sky, bringing non-stop audiovisual feasts to visitors throughout the day. Topics related to the event garnered over 10 million online engagements, with special coverage by mainstream media including CCTV News, showcasing Tianmen Mountain's cultural tourism appeal to audiences worldwide.
