Hunan’s Largest Luxury Cruise Ship Starts Maiden Voyage

The photo taken on August 1, 2016 shows Hunan’s largest luxury cruise ship featuring double-bottom hulls starts its maiden voyage from Orange Isle after blowing its whistle. The 42.18-meter-long and 12-meter-wide cruise ship boasts unique shape in white and blue. The ship presents a harmonious scene on the clear Xaingjiang River, making the city of mountain, river and island more charm.

    Peng Bo, a six-year-old drummer from Baojing, Xiangxi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, won the gold prize in the 11th World Chinese Youth Art Festival.This event was co-hosted by the Malaysia Branch of the World Federation of Overseas Chinese and the China International Cultural and Arts Communication Association and undertaken by the organizing committee of the “Chinese Culture Wu Zhou Xing” program. It was staged in a theatre of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, with over 1,200 candidates from three countries and two regions participating in it. The contest was divided into group A and group B for the youth, children and preschool players. Accompanied by his mother, young Peng Bo participated in the Children group A’s competition on behalf of Hunan.
