World Natural Heritage World Geopark The First National Forest Park of China
2013 ZJJ International Forest Protecting Festival will open its curtain in October 12th in Zhangjiajie. This year, The festival will take “Green song, beautiful homeland” as its theme and will put emphasis on the first run of the movie dream of Zhangjiajie and the cooperative project related to ecological protecting industry.
Since 1991, Zhangjiajie keeps holding the International Forest Protecting Festival.Till this year, It is the 17th. According to different activities every year, carrying forward ecological civilization and building green homeland. At the same time, Zhangjiajie people’s consciousness of protecting the forest has been strengthened, which prompting Zhangjiajie people to treasure the nature and green land.
