The Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Intercity Railway started runs of the whole line that day.Changde-Yiyang-Changsha High-speed Railway, an important part of Chongqing-Xiamen Passageway, connects with Chongqing-Zhangjiajie-Changde Railway. Its Changde-Yiyang Section shares the line with Hohhot-Nanning Passageway. The high-speed railway has a total length of 156.82 km, with a design speed of 350 km/h.
