Hainan Airlines announced on March 9 that it will launch direct flight between Changsha to London from March 23. This will be the first nonstop flight linking Hunan and the UK.At present, passengers flying from Changsha to London need to make at least one intermediate stop in Beijing or Hong Kong.The opening of the Changsha to London route will shorten flight time between Changsha and London from more than 16 hours to 12 hours and 10 minutes.The flight will fly three times a week, i.e. on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, and be operated with the Boeing 787 Dreamliner.
