The construction of a botanical garden has commenced in Yueyang on April 19, 2016. The project with a total investment of 200 million yuan is expected to be open to the public on Oct. 1 this year and put into official operation on May 1 next year.  Located in Huangmei Harbor Area, southeast of Southern Lake, the botanical garden borders Huangmei Harbor to the north, and connects the main mountain range of Longshan Mountain to the south and Zeng’s Family to the east.
